Why does the charging current of an LFP (LiFePO₄) battery decrease during charging?
It’s normal for the charging current to drop gradually as the voltage increases.LFP cells have a very flat voltage curve, so even a small rise in voltage means the cell is already nearing full charge. Internal resistance increases slightly, causing the current to taper off naturally.
